At Take Charge of Change (TCC) we coach organizations and individuals to be resilient through periods of change and challenge. Resilient; mentally, emotionally, physically, and relationally so you accomplish the important MISSIONS in our life.
Health and maintaining appropriate body weight is a component of resiliency training. We have pulled “Ten Tips for Mastering Fat Loss” from our comprehensive nutritional training workshop. In the words of Bob Dylan “Times They Are A Changin”! There is no denying it! We live in a world of incredible change. All around us, political, economic, societal and technological changes are dramatically impacting our country, our institutions, our local communities, our families and consequently, our personal lives. There is no stopping it as globalization and technological advances continue to accelerate the rate of these changes! We will increasingly be impacted as the institutions that have traditionally acted as buffers (government, the family, large employers, protected trade) lose their ability to insulate us from Global Change.
Sounds doomy? It doesn’t have to be! Within this period of rapid change will come tremendous
opportunities however, without proper training and preparation, organizations and individuals could be
overwhelmed by this period of change and the potential opportunities will pass them by. This is where

Resiliency training increases the likelihood that you will not only bounce back from periods of change, challenge and adversity but these periods of challenge can be fertile periods of learning and growth that will build a deeper resiliency reservoir so you can effectively deal with future challenges that are sure to come.

- Relying on Will Power does not work – Many dieters are experts on nutrition and diet plans and yet they struggle to keep the weight off Many people know strategies for productivity at work yet fail to consistently apply them. Successfully applying the Resiliency Strategies into our day to day experiences is not about will power. Our training harness’s the latest cognitive and neuroscience research on initiating change and making it stick!
- Energy Management is a crucial part of being Resilient and dealing with change – The amount of personal energy we can bring to any project or challenge can have a profound impact on the outcome. Many people are energy depleted and unable to sustain the required energy demands that confront them every day. They may meet the energy demands at work but are disengaged and uninvolved at home because they are energy depleted. Important relationships suffer and unhappiness creeps into life. Our training is about regaining energy and building energy capacity through the dynamic interplay of improved physical health/wellness, powerful nutritionally practices, empowering relationships, capturing and focusing cognition and cultivating unique purpose.
- Focus and Attention Capturing – it has been said that we live in an age of distraction. The advancement of Technology has been positive in many ways but it has also created a large negative impact that most people are not even aware about…it has the potential to rob us of our ability to capture and effectively direct our consciousness and focusing powers. We get distracted by e-mail, the web, Facebook updates, texting, etc. In many organizations, the sheer volume of digital information becomes overwhelming. Just managing social media is becoming a serious preoccupation. How we capture and direct our consciousness will, in large part, determine our effectiveness in work, family and community life.
