Shaun Humphries

Shaun is a life transition coach who specializes in equipping people with the knowledge and training programs that will empower them to balancing home and professional life to overcome and learn from life’s inevitable transitions; a new career, having children, retirement, new relationships and declining health and energy can all pose challenges.

Handled effectively, personal transitions can be fertile soil for personal growth.  Shaun inspires people to see the opportunity inside periods of challenge by teaching the principles that he and his wife Tanya have learned and put into practice the last two decades.  These are tried-in-the trenches strategies that they have put into practice to run a financial services business, for Tanya to teach future generations of teachers at the University of Manitoba and the University of Regina Education faculties, to home school their four children, and for Shaun to compete and excel in both Ironman and sprint distance triathlons. In 2007, Shaun won his age group in the B.C. Provincial Age Group Championships and the Manitoba 2007 Sprint Distance Triathlon Series. Shaun strives to give back to the community through his involvement in the non profit sector. Shaun draws on a wide range of business, personal and family experiences in developing and facilitating dynamic workshop encounters  that will positively impact organizational cultures and lead to personal transformation in the lives of people.

“My Entrepreneurial career and our family experiences in the sport of triathlon and family life in general have had a powerful influence on the design and content of our program. Triathlon’s especially Ironman Triathlons, provide us and our clients with powerful metaphors and understandings for dealing with the change and transitions we encounter in our relationships, careers and personal lives.”
